AutoAndy posters

Giclee print on archival paper

These are posters and graphics randomly (and not so randomly) generated by the AutoAndy Flash application created by my friend no circle no (aka Ben Rhodes). This project started out as a way to randomly draw sets of faces so I didn't have to. Due to Ben's amazing abilities with flash, it turned in to a highly customized application with the ability to change shapes, colors and faces after a set had been drawn randomly.

This slideshow presents only a small amount of the variety of output that AutoAndy can produce. To date, I've created about 75 unique posters from this application and I'm still finding neat little quirks and idiosyncrasies that generate beautiful and unique images. The very first image in the slideshow shows a layered approach that I put together in Illustrator but all the other images are straight out of AutoAndy.

Below is a brief screencast (no audio) that shows how the AutoAndy application works...Thanks Ben!
